Statistics of Transportation in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2021

Transportation is one of the important elements in development. The availability of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure facilitates the distribution of goods and services and supports the smooth mobility of the population. In addition, the topography of the Nusa Tenggara Barat Province in the form of islands makes the transportation sector an opportunity as well as a challenge. This publication presents data on land, sea and air transportation in Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. The data presented includes the length of the road according to the type of surface and status as well as the flow of passengers and goods in sea and air ports. The condition of the Covid-19 Pandemic since 2020 has also had an impact on the Transportation Sector in 2021 which is reflected in the data contained in this publication. The data is expected to be used by policy makers and related parties in planning and evaluating development programs, especially in the field of transportation.
