Transportation Statistics of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2017

Transportation is an important element in development. Availability of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure to facilitate the distribution of goods and services and support the smooth mobility of the population. In addition, the topography of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province in the form of islands makes the transportation sector an opportunity as well as a challenge.

This publication presents data on land, sea and air transportation in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data presented includes the length of the road according to the type of surface and the status and flow of passengers and goods at sea and air ports. The data is expected to be used by policy makers and related parties in planning and evaluating development programs, especially in the field of transportation.
