Transportation Statistics of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2019

Transportation is an important element in development. The availability of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure facilitates the distribution of goods and services and supports the smooth mobility of the population. In addition, the topography of the province of West Nusa Tenggara in the form of the islands makes the transportation sector an opportunity as well as a challenge.This publication presents data on land, sea and air transportation in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data presented includes the length of the road according to surface type and status and the flow of passengers and goods at sea and air ports. The data is expected to be used by policy makers and related parties in planning and evaluating development programs, especially in the field of transportation.
