Transportation Statistics of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2020

Transportation is an important element in development. The availability of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure facilitates the distribution of goods and services and supports the smooth mobility of the population. In addition, the topography of West Nusa Tenggara Province which is an archipelago makes the transportation sector an opportunity as well as a challenge. This publication presents data on land, sea and air transportation in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data presented includes the length of the road according to surface type and status as well as the flow of passengers and goods at sea and air ports. The conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic also have an impact on the Transportation Sector, which is reflected in the data contained in this publication. This data is expected to be used by policy makers and related parties in planning and evaluating development programs, especially in the transportation sector.
