Abstract
The occupancy rate of star hotels
in October 2020 increased compared to the previous month. The occupancy rate in
October 2020 was 34,49 percent, an increase of 2,56 points from the previous
month’s value of 31,93 percent. Meanwhile, compared to its value in October
2019, the rate fell by 15,80 points.
The occupancy rate of
non-star hotels in October 2020 was 16,47 percent, an increase of 0,42 point
from September 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to October of last year, the
value fell by 13,29 points from the initial value of 29,76 percent.
The average number of nights
spent in star hotels in October 2020 was 1,98 days. When compared to September
2020, it increased by 0,26 days.
The average number of nights
spent by non-star hotel guests in October 2020 reached 1,24 days, an increase
of 0,06 day from its value in August 2020, which was 1,18 days.
The number of guests staying
in the star hotel in October 2020 was recorded at 40.490, which accounted for 39.880
domestic guests (98,94 percent) and 610 foreign guests (1,15 percent).
The number of guests staying
in the non-star hotel in October 2020 was recorded at 44.497, which accounted
for 44.348 domestic guests (99,67 percent) and 149 foreign guests (0,33 percent).
