Harvest Area and Rice Production in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2023 (Results of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with Area Sample Framework Method)

Integrated Agricultural Statistics Collection of Food Crops with the Area Sample Framework Method (KSA) is an activity carried out through collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) which is now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity is included in the national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in the context of improving food statistical data, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main purpose of this activity is to produce data on the area of rice harvest that is objective, scientific, and involves the role of the latest technology, so that the rice production data collected becomes more accurate, fast, and timely.
