Profile of Elder People in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2023

The increase in the number of elderly people has complex consequences. The various challenges caused by the aging population have covered almost every aspect of life. To respond to these conditions, an elderly development program is needed that is able to protect the lives of the elderly. Departing from this phenomenon, the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province is trying to accommodate the need for concrete and comprehensive data on the elderly by pouring it in the form of the Publication of the 2023 West Nusa Tenggara Province Elderly Profile. Through this publication, it can be known the extent of the potential and resources of the elderly in West Nusa Tenggara Province. This publication itself is an annual publication that contains macro information about the demographic conditions of the elderly, educational status, employment, socio-economy, and health conditions. The data used in this publication are mostly from the results of the March 2023 National Socio-Economic Survey and the August 2023 National Labor Force Survey
