Profile of Elder People in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2021

The elderly (elderly) population is a resident aged 60 years and over. The increase in the number of elderly is one of the successes of development, especially in the health sector. The socioeconomic conditions of the elderly population need to be considered so that they can enjoy the results of development equally, not distinguished from the population of other age groups.The publication Profile of the Elderly of West Nusa Tenggara Province 2021 is a publication on the elderly population published by the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province, aiming to present an overview of the condition of the elderly population in West Nusa Tenggara which is seen from various important aspects, such as demographic structure, education, employment, socioeconomics, and health. With this publication, it is hoped that it can support government policies to protect the elderly as one of the objects of development and to optimize the carrying capacity of the elderly as subjects of development.
