Profile of Democratic Index in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2021

The high commitment of the government in building Indonesian democracy and politics must be supported by empirical data that can be used as a basis for policy making and formulation of specific and accurate strategies. The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) is compiled to meet these needs.The 2021 Ntb Provincial Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) has a different calculation concept compared to the previous IDI calculation. The lack of economic and social dimensions in democracy is one of the drivers of method revision. The theory of democracy that is developing today sees democracy in a broader point of view, where aspects include political, economic, and social.The publication of the 2021 West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Democracy Index Profile illustrates the portrait of democracy in NTB and the development of every aspect and indicator that occurs in NTB that has been calculated using new methods. This publication is expected to be useful for many parties, both for planning, monitoring and evaluation materials for development programs implemented, especially democratic development in NTB.
