Democracy Index Profile of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2020

The government's high commitment to building democracy and Indonesian politics must be supported by empirical data that can be used as a basis for policy making and formulating specific and accurate strategies. The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) was developed to meet this need.IDI is a composite index that measures democratic behavior from four elements, namely the executive, legislative, judiciary and the wider community, so that the high or low IDI value of a region is the responsibility of all parties. IDI is formed from three main aspects, namely Aspects of Civil Liberties, Aspects of Political Rights, and Aspects of Democratic Institutions.The publication of the 2020 West Nusa Tenggara Province Democracy Index Profile describes a portrait of democracy in NTB and the development of every aspect, variable, and indicator that occurs in NTB. This publication is expected to be useful for many parties, both for planning, monitoring and evaluation materials for development programs implemented, especially for democracy development in NTB.
