NTB, January 2021: Room Occupancy Rate of Star Hotels Recorded 20,17 Percent

Abstract

The occupancy rate of star hotel in January 2021 decreased compared to the previous month. Occupancy rate in January 2021 was 23,73 percent, decreased by 20,17 points from its value in December 2020 which was 43,90 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to its value in January 2020, the rate fell by 18,76 points.

The occupancy rate of non-star hotel in January 2021 reached 13,30 percent, decreased around 8,48 points from December 2020 which was 21,78 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to the last year (January 2020), the value decreased by 4,19 points from the initial value of 17,49 percent.

The average of night spent of star hotel guest in January 2021 was 1,81 days. It decreased by 0,14 day compared to December 2020.

The average of night spent of non-star hotel guests in January 2021 reached 1,41 days, increased by 0,14 day from its value in December 2020 which was 1,27 days.

The number of tourists stayed in the star hotel in January 2021 recorded at 30.886 persons which account for 30.380 of domestic guest (98,36 percent) and 506 of foreign guest (1,64 percent).

The number of tourists stayed in the non-star hotel in January 2021 recorded at 41.324 persons which account for 41.595 of domestic guest (99,35 percent) and 271 of foreign guest (0,65 percent).
