Abstract
The calculation of farmer terms of trade (FTT) was
based on the base year 2012=100 in which the value farmer terms of trade by sub
sector in March 2018 was as follows: food crops about 107,84, horticulture
about 84,13; smallholders estate crops about 92,91; animal husbandry about
122,89; and fishery about 105,38. Farmer terms of trade of fishery can be
distinguished into two types that are capture fishery and aquaculture fishery
about 113,24 and 92,70, respectively. Therefore, farmer terms of trade of NTB
was documented at 106,04, decreased about 0,58 percent compared to its value in
March 2018 which was about 106,66.

Agricultural terms of trade in April 2018 was around
115,09, decreased by 0,75 percent compared to March 2018 that was around 115,96
percent. Majority of agricultural terms of trade reached the value above 100
except of horticulture which only amounted of 94,61. The agricultural terms of
trade of other sub sectors were animal husbandry (135,96); food crops (112,99); fishery (114,53), and
smallholders estate crops (104,82).

Of 33 province, 10 province experienced an increase
meanwhile 24 other experienced a decrease in the value of farmer terms of trade.
The highet increase occured in Sulawesi Tengah of 1,01 percent, while the
highest decrease occurred in Jambi of -1,77 percent.

In April 2018, Nusa Tenggara Barat experienced
inflation which was 0,03 percent. This was due to the increasing value of
Household Consumption Indices (IKRT) of health about 0,57 percent; clothing
about 0,27 percent; transportation and communication about 0,21 percent;
prepared food about 0,12 percent; housing about 0,05 percent; and education,
recreation and sport about 0,01 percent; meanwhile other sub-group that showed
increasing value was foodstuff about -0,10 percent.
