Profile of Ageing Population of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2018

Aging is a natural process experienced by every human being. Elderly people (elderly) are residents aged 60 years and over. Increasing the number of elderly is one of the success of development, especially in the health sector. The socio-economic condition of the elderly population (elderly) needs to be considered so that they can enjoy the results of development equally, not differentiated from residents of other age groups.The publication "Elderly Profile of West Nusa Tenggara Province 2018" is a publication about the elderly population published by the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province, aims to present a macro picture of the conditions and situation of the elderly population in West Nusa Tenggara which is seen from various important aspects, such as demographic structure, education, employment, social economy and health. With this publication, it is hoped that it can support government policies to protect the elderly as one of the objects of development and to optimize the carrying capacity of the elderly as the subject of development.
