NTB, May 2022: Room Occupancy Rate of Star and Non Star Hotels Both Increased

Abstract

The occupancy rate of star hotel in May 2022 increased compared to the previous month. The occupancy rate in May 2022 was 32,35 percent, increased by 17,08 points from its value in April 2022 which was 15,27 percent. Furthermore, if compared to April 2021, the rate also increased by 3,83 points.

The occupancy rate of non-star hotel in May 2022 reached 19,32 percent, increased around 6,35 points from April 2022 which was 12,97 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to last year (May 2021), the value increased by 7,08 points from the initial value of 12,24 percent.

The average of night spent of star hotel guest in May 2022 was 2,03 days. It increased by 0,13 days compared to April 2022.

The average of night spent of non-star hotel guests in May 2022 reached 1,34 days, increased by 0,06 days from its value in April 2022 which was 1,28 days.

The number of tourists stayed in the star hotel in May 2022 recorded at 63.097 persons which account for 59.688 of domestic guest (94,60 percent) and 3.309 foreign guest (5,40 percent).

The number of tourists stayed in the non-star hotel in May 2022 recorded at 52.227 persons which account for 50.008 persons of domestic guest (95,75 percent) and 2.219 guest (4,25 percent).
