Abstract

In November 2019, Nusa Tenggara Barat experienced inflation about 0,24 percent, in other words Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased from 135,67 in October 2019 to 136,00 in November 2019. The national level also experienced inflation about 0,15 percent.

Looking at the regional level, both Mataram and Bima city experienced inflation which were 0,15 percent and 0,62 percent, respectively.

Inflation was due to increasing price index of the following expenditure groups: foodstuff about 1,38 percent; prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco about 0,16 percent; and transport, communication and financial services about 0,10 percent. Meanwhile, the price index of the other expenditure group was decreasing.

Inflation rate of Nusa Tenggara Barat in November 2019, based on calendar year, was about 1,50 percent. It was lower compared to November 2018 which was around 2,53 percent. Meanwhile, inflation rate of year on year in November 2019 documented at 2,13 percent which was also lower than the inflation rate of year on year in November 2018 that was about 3,40 percent.
