Abstract

  •         In June 2019, Nusa Tenggara Barat experienced inflation about 0,54 percent, in other words Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased from 135,57 in May 2019 to 136,30 in June 2019. The national level also experienced inflation about 0,55 percent.
  •         Looking at the regional level, both Mataram and Bima city experienced inflation which were 0,63 percent and 0,16 percent, respectively.
  •          Inflation was due to increasing price index of the following expenditure groups: housing, water, electricity and fuel about 0,94 percent; clothing about 0,62 percent; foodstuff about 0,59 percent; transport, communication and financial services about 0,32 percent;  health about 0,26 percent; prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco about 0,25 percent; education, recreation and sport about 0,00 percent.
  •      Inflation rate of Nusa Tenggara Barat in June 2019, based on calendar year, was about 1,72 percent. It was higher compared to June 2018 which was around 1,51 percent. Meanwhile, inflation rate of year on year in June 2019 documented at 3,39 percent which was also higher than the inflation rate of year on year in June 2018 that was about 3,02 percent.
