Abstract

·         The calculation of farmer terms of trade (FTT) was based on the base year 2012=100.  In May 2018, the value of farmer terms of trade by sub sector as follows: food crops about 108,54, horticulture about 83,15; smallholders estate crops about 93,62; animal husbandry about 124,26; and fishery about 106,19. Farmer terms of trade of fishery can be distinguished into two types which are capture fishery and aquaculture fishery about 114,59 and 92,61, respectively. Therefore, farmer terms of trade of NTB was documented at 106,69, increased about 0,61 percent compared to its value in April 2018 which was about 106,04 percent.

·         Agricultural terms of trade in May 2018 was around 115,77, increased by 0,58 percent compared to April 2018 that was around 115,09 percent. Majority of agricultural terms of trade reached the value above 100 except for horticulture which only amounted of 93,60. The agricultural terms of trade of other sub sectors were animal husbandry (137,39); food  crops (113,58); fishery (115,59), and smallholders estate crops (105,75).

·         Of 33 province, 22 province experienced an increase meanwhile 11 other experienced a decrease in the value of farmer terms of trade. The highet increase occured in Sulawesi Barat of 2,23 percent, while the highest decrease occurred in Riau of -1,92 percent.

·         In May 2018, Nusa Tenggara Barat experienced inflation about 0,12 percent. This was due to the increasing value of Household Consumption Indices (IKRT) of almost all subgroup expenditure except for foodstuff which was decrease around 0,03 percent.
