Results of a Survey of Business Activities During the COVID-19 Pandemic in West Nusa Tenggara Province

The COVID-19 pandemic has lasted more than a year and has had a far-reaching economic and other aspects impact. However, along with efforts to recover the national economy, health care, and the implementation of adaptation to new habits, the Indonesian economy can gradually recover. Efforts to recover the economy fundamentally through the implementation of appropriate strategies and the participation of all stakeholders are the determining factors for national economic recovery. To support these efforts, the availability of supporting data has a very important role in implementing the strategy.The Central Statistics Agency is trying to attend and participate in the provision of data during the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation of health protocols and the psychological pressure of respondents during the pandemic made conventional data collection difficult.However, with innovations and utilizing technological advances in data collection such as the use of online surveys, efforts to provide data are more likely to be carried out. The Survey of Business Activities during the COVID-19 Pandemic, which was conducted online for the provision of additional statistics, is one form of this innovation.The provision of additional statistics in the form of several indicators of business activities during the COVID-19 pandemic aims to provide information to stakeholders for the preparation of plans and quick and strategic steps in the national economic recovery.
