Executive Summary of Paddy Harvested Area and Production in Nusa Tenggara Barat 2021

Data collection of Food Crop Agricultural Statistics Integrated with The Area Sample Framework Method (KSA) is an activity resulting from collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Aeronautics and Space Institute (LAPAN) which is now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR / BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity began to be implemented nationally in 2018 and is included in national projects to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security, in order to improve statistical data. The main purpose of this activity is to obtain an objective, scientific, and modern method of collecting data on rice harvesting by involving the role of the latest technology, so that agricultural data, especially rice production data collected, becomes more accurate, fast, and timely.The Executive Summary of Rice Harvest and Production Area in Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2021 presents concise information about the results of the implementation of the KSA Padi 2021 data collection. In addition, this executive summary also presents provisional figures on the area of rice harvest and production for the Period January-April 2022 based on the data of KSA Padi January 2022.
