Producer Price Statistics of Paddy Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2020

Nusa Tenggara Barat Rice Producer Price Statistics 2020 Publication is an annual publication published by the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data presented in this publication are rice producer price data at the district level during the period January to December 2020. The results of the monitoring survey on grain producer prices include the number of observations, the lowest and highest prices at the transaction point, the average price by quality group, and components of grain quality both at the farmer and mill level.Considering that grain is a strategic commodity, the price of grain at both the farmer and mill level needs to be regulated by the Government through Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 5 of 2015 dated March 17, 2015 concerning the Policy for the Procurement of Grain/Rice and Distribution of Rice by the Government which is effective from March 17, 2015. 2015. This policy is needed to secure prices in order to create price stability in the market.
