Labour Market Analysis of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province 2020

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) has been conducted semi-annually (February and August) since February 2015. This survey covers all regions of Indonesia and is expected to capture the dynamics of employment on a regular and continuous basis. The February Sakernas produced estimates up to the provincial level, while the August Sakernas were able to present estimates up to the district/city level. Since Sakernas August 2020, the calculation of labor indicators uses a weight from the projected results of the Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS 2015). To maintain comparability, the presentation of the data series (August 2018 and August 2019) uses a weighting of the population projections resulting from the 2015 SUPAS.This publication presents the development of labor market indicators which refer to the Key Indicators of the Labor Market (KILM) recommended by the ILO (International Labor Organization), with the hope that they can be used as a reference regarding labor market conditions in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Of the 20 KILM recommended by the ILO, only 14 KILM whose measurements can be displayed through Sakernas data.
