RESULTS OF INTER-CENSAL AGRICULTURAL SURVEY 2018 OF NUSA TENGGARA BARAT PROVINCE A2-SERIES

Agricultural sector is the main sector which plays an important role in the national economy in absorbing labor, as source of economic growth, and contributor to foreign exchange. In addition, the agricultural sector also drives other sectors within the national economy. Based on above condition, attention to the availability of complete, accurate and up-to-date agricultural sector data is critical as a reference for the government and stakeholders in planning and policy formulation. BPS–Statistics Indonesia along with its duties and authorities provides data related to the agricultural sector through the implementation of various surveys and censuses periodically. Provision of census-based agricultural data is carried out every ten-year period, while agricultural business rapidly changes in line with rapid technological development, seasonal changes, and prices. The latest agricultural census was carried out in 2013 (ST2013).
