Abstract
▪ November 2022, combined year on year inflation
of two cities (Mataram and Bima city) was 6,62 percent, in other words, the
Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased from 105,31 in November 2021 to 112,28 in November
2022.
▪ Looking at the regional level, both Mataram and Bima city experienced
year on year inflation of 6,65 and of 6,54 percent, respectively.
▪ Inflation was due to increasing price index of the
following expenditure groups: transport about 23,72 percent; food, beverages,
and tobacco about 7,24 percent; furnishings, household equipment, and routine
household maintenance about 4,47 percent; food and beverage serving
services/restaurant about 3,96 percent; personal care and other services about 3,45
percent; clothing and footwear about 3,37 percent; housing, water, electricity,
and household fuel about 3,14 percent; education about 2,47 percent; recreation,
sport, and culture about 1,74 percent; health about 0,82 percent. Meanwhile,
the price index of the following expenditure group decreased; information,
communication, and financial services about -0,93 percent.
▪ The month-to-month inflation rate of combined two cities (Mataram and
Bima City) in November 2022 was 0,09 percent. Meanwhile year to date inflation
in November 2022 was 5,95 percent, which was higher compared to year-to-date
inflation rate in November 2021 which was 1,48 percent.
