May 2022 : Nusa Tenggara Barat Province Farmer Exchange Rate decreased by 0.27 percent

▪ Farmer terms of trade (FTT) is the ratio between the indices of price received by farmers (It) and the indices of the price paid by farmers

▪ FTT can be interpreted as an indicator to observe the purchasing power parity of farmers in the rural area. FTT also shows the terms of trade between agricultural products and consumption of goods and services as well as production cost.

▪ FTT May 2022 was 104,46, decreased by 0,27 percent compared to the previous month. It is because the indices of the price received by farmers decreased by 0,16 percent, while the indices of the price paid by farmers increased by 0,11 percent.

▪ The value of farmer terms of trade by sub sector as follows: food crops about 102,19; horticulture about 116,30; smallholders estate crops about 92,97; animal husbandry about 107,78; and fishery about 112,95.

▪ In May 2022, the Household Consumption Indices (IKRT) rose because the value of all expenditure groups went up except for Information, communication and financial services. It values remain unchanged.

▪ Agricultural terms of trade in May 2022 was 104,28 percent, decreased by 0,13 percent compared to the previous month.
