NTB, August 2021: Room Occupancy Rate Was Down by 0.87 Point

Abstract

The occupancy rate of star hotel in August 2021 decreased compared to the previous month. Occupancy rate in August 2021 was 25,38 percent, decreased by 0,87 point from its value in July 2021 which was 26,25 percent. Moreover, if compared to its value in August 2020, the rate also fell by 1,67 points.

The occupancy rate of non-star hotel in August 2021 reached 13,56 percent, increased around 0,72 points from July 2021 which was 12,84 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to the last year (August 2020), the value decreased by 3,13 points from the initial value of 16,69 percent.

The average of night spent of star hotel in August 2021 was 2,21 days. It decreased by 0,38 day compared to July 2021.

The average of night spent of non-star hotel guests in August 2021 reached 1,45 days, increased by 0,03 from its value in July 2021 which was 1,42 days.

The number of tourists stayed in the star hotel in August 2021 recorded at 26.456 persons which account for 25.867 of domestic guest (97,77 percent) and 589 of foreign guest (2,23 percent).

The number of tourists stayed in the non-star hotel in August 2021 recorded at 36.099 persons which account for 35.543 of domestic guest (98,46 percent) and 556 of foreign guest (1,54 percent).
