Abstract

In December 2020, the combined inflation of the two cities (Mataram City and Bima City) was 0.42 percent, or there was an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 103.33 in November 2020 to 103.77 in December 2020. Inflation rate This is smaller than the national inflation rate which was recorded at 0.45 percent.

For the West Nusa Tenggara region, the City of Mataram experienced inflation of 0.45 percent and the City of Bima experienced an inflation of 0.34 percent.

The Combined Two Cities Inflation in December 2020 of 0.42 percent occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group of 1.79 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group by 0.15 percent; The Health Group by 0.11 percent; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group by 0.09 percent; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Provision Group by 0.02 percent; Equipment, Appliances, and Household Routine Maintenance Group by 0.01 percent; The Education Group by 0.00 percent; and the Recreation, Sports, and Culture Group by 0.00 percent. Meanwhile, the index decreased for the Personal Care and Other Services Group by 1.02 percent; Transportation group by 0.98 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 0.01 percent.

The inflation rate for the Combined Two Cities for the December 2020 calendar year was 0.60 percent lower than the December 2019 calendar year inflation of 1.87 percent. Meanwhile, the “year on year” inflation rate in December 2020 was 0.60 percent lower than the “year on year” inflation rate in December 2019 of 1.87 percent.
