Abstract

In November 2017, Nusa Tenggara Barat experienced inflation about 0,85 percent, in other words Consumer Price Index (CPI) rise from 128,79 in November 2017 to 129,88 in Desember 2017. The rate was above the national level that recorded around 0,71 percent.

Looking at into regional difference, both Mataram and Bima city experienced inflation that was 0,70 percent and 1,38 percent, respectively.

Inflation occurs due to an increase in the index of the following: foodstuff about 3,28 percent; housing, water and electricity about 0,23 percent; ready made food, beverages and tobacco about 0,17 percent; health about 0,1 percent; clothing and footwear about 0,17 percent; and education, recreational item and sport about 0,00 percent. By contrast, decreasing index occurs in transport, communication and financial sercive around 0,03 percent.

As December is the last month of the year 2017, therefore, the value of inflation rate of calendar 2017 and inflation rate of year on year are the same value. The rate is recorded about 3,70 percent which surpassed the inflation rate in December 2016 which was recorded 2,61 percent.
