Abstract

In August 2015 West Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 0.39 percent. The inflation rate is equal to the national inflation figures were also recorded at 0.39 percent.

Of the 82 cities which calculates the CPI, there were 59 cities experienced inflation and 23 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Tanjung Pandan by 2.29 percent followed by the city of Bengkulu at 1.99 percent. While the lowest inflation occurred in the town of Probolinggo by 0.02 percent. The highest deflation occurred in the city of Ambon at 1.77 percent and the lowest at 0.01 percent Singkawang. For West Nusa Tenggara, Mataram City experienced inflation of 0.45 percent and Bima City experienced inflation of 0.16 percent.

West Nusa Tenggara inflation in August 2015 by 0.39 percent occurred because of the increase in the index in the group Education, Recreation and Sports at 7.08 percent; Group Food, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco by 0.41 percent and the Health group by 0.38 percent. While the decline in the index occurred in the group of Food by 0.23 percent; Group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & fuel by 0.19 percent; Group Transport, Communications & Financial Services by 0.11 percent and 0.03 percent Sandang group.

West Nusa Tenggara inflation rate of calendar year (August 2015 - December 2014) amounted to 1.55 percent, and the rate of inflation "year to year" (August 2015 - August 2014) amounted to 5.28 percent.
